Academics interviewed 100,000 people from 137 different countries to find out about the levels of altruism, trust, and social connections. The study suggests that acts of kindness have increased since the pandemic and despite global conflict.

The secrets to a good life might be satisfying relationships and physical exercise. Two separate studies, one conducted in Australia and the other in the UK, found that healthy and satisfying relationships could deter the development of long-term conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and even cancer. The second study concluded the longer one stays physically active, the better the brain functions into old-age.
