CHESTER COUNTY, Pa (September 13, 2023) After two weeks of running from police officers, dogs, and drones, the convicted murderer, Danelo Cavalcante, was captured around 8 am EDT in a wooded area in Chester County, Pennsylvania. “I feel like an incredible weight has been lifted off us,” said Michele Bauer, who lives nearby and witnessed the turmoil caused by Cavalcante’s jailbreak. Beginning next month, Cavalcante will be tried for a separate murder he allegedly committed in Brazil.

SANTA MONICA (September 8, 2023) Caught between a rock and a hard place, Elon Musk seemingly didn't authorize internet connectivity or possibly switched it off when the Ukrainian military planned a drone strike against the Russian Navy in Sevastopol. Starlink, one of Musk's many companies, has provided mobile internet connectivity to the Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's invasion. Musk said he didn't enable the internet use because he feared Russia would retaliate with nuclear weapons. The Ukrainians said Musk's actions allowed for further Russian bombings resulting in the deaths of innocent children.

Eating the right amount is difficult. That fried chicken is so good, and I love my pasta. We often overeat, which can lead to health problems. Avoiding overeating offers numerous health advantages. It helps maintain a healthy weight, reducing the risk of obesity and related conditions like diabetes and heart disease. Additionally, controlled portions aid digestion, prevent discomfort, and promote mindful eating habits, fostering overall well-being and energy levels. As we age, we need less calories because our metabolism slows down. A strategy might be to eat better quality foods over quantity.

Some reason to get out of bed and be motivated. You're never really retired. (4) Don't worry, be happy and stop stressing about everything. Take care of today and tomorrow will take care of itself. (5) Eat more fruit and vegetables while cutting down on the salt. (5) Maintain a positive outlook and try to help others through good deeds. (6) Keep your mind engaged by reading, learning a new language, or writing that novel. The points outlined above a not a blueprint but they just might make life a little better.

Social Media is going to be around for awhile. Once you get past the idea that social media commodifies the individual by making them a product to be bought and sold like digital slaves, there might be some value in it. We stay connected with people and abreast of the world around us. BUT, you know you are using social media too much when it is the first thing you check in the morning and the last thing you check at night. Or, if you get angry about everything you read online and just can't keep scrolling. Maybe, it's time to take back your life. You can schedule a day off from the phone, computer, and social media accounts. Or you could only be friends with people you know IRL and who aren't peddling demagoguery or celebrity status. Finally, a great way to regain control would be to reestablish face-to-face relationships with friends and family. Have a real relationship, you'll love it!

Finally, try and buy the clothing that you really love. Ask yourself whether you really need all the clothing in your closet - it's called "conscientious capitalism."
