SANTA MONICA, Calif. The final hearing concerning the deadly attack on the US Capitol is scheduled to be held today (December 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM PST).
The Capitol attack occurred on January 6th, 2021 and was the culmination of a possible persuasion campaign led by former Donald J. Trump. Throughout Trump’s time in office, he repeatedly misled and influenced people who desired change by telling them half truths and outright lies. Trump may have convinced a group of people to attack the US Capitol building in an attempt to overthrow the US government and start a modern day Revolutionary War.
Today’s Hearing is the culmination of 18 months of investigation into whether or not formal charges can be brought against former President Trump.
