LIVE at 5:00 pm EDT – FIFA Announces the Host Cities of the 2026 World Cup

SANTA MONICA – FIFA will announce the host cities for the 2026 World Cup today at 5:00 pm EDT.

2026 will be the first time the World Cup has been hosted in three different cities. The host countries are: The United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Favored host cities are Los Angeles in the United States, Vancouver in Canada, and Mexico City in Mexico.

This will also be the first time that 48 different countries and teams will participate in the World Cup.

It is expected that today’s announcement will assign 10 different host cities in the United States, and three each in Canada and Mexico.
