The Kyiv Independent reports that more than 500,000 Ukrainians have fled their country since the war began seven days ago. The New York Times also reported the same number of Ukrainians, mostly women and children, have sought refuge from the bombings in Poland and other adjacent countries.
As Russian President Putin aggressively pushes into the populated cities, the number of civilian deaths has sharply risen. In the southern port city of Kherson, the military and unified resistance continues to fight valiantly against the military Russian Bear that slowly and steadily lumbers across the country.
